"Fishing for Lake Trout"

Couldn't resist...we've been watching Anne of Green Gables in 20 minute intervals...in the heat of the day (with ice cream). Good strategy for dealing with the 95+ temps, no?

Anyway, on to the topic at hand! FISHING!

My men came home with 19 big trout! This is unbelievable!

This Week: In The Garden

A harvest! Yukon Golds and Reds....
Sugar Peas and Creamed peas, too!

Potatoes, Beans and Corn.

(the pedal car has seen some action

in the irrigation mud!)

Yukon Gold Potato Blossoms

Purple Queen Bush Beans... ready next week!

Huge strawberries, loving the aged compost!

Black Satin Blackberries, small and abundant.

They turn black as they ripen,

but I just love this shade of pinky red!

Everyday

The smiles of these four men

make my day,

everyday.

As wife and mother,

I have been blessed.

Happy Independence Day!

Abundant

God's Blessings: times 3!
