I bought 4 of these last year
one for each child,
in expectation
of Ellie's
first Christmas.
How I miss her!

Christmastime is so bittersweet....
trying not to get so caught up in the hard memories
and "what-ifs"
that I miss what's in front of me today,
three precious boys whose childhood Christmas
memories are NOW!
Their innocence and eager anticipation
remind me to be a child again,
to see Jesus through their eyes.

I am sorry for this hard reminder! You are on the right track - just keep persevering! God will see you through! We love you and are praying for you!
What a beautiful token. I'm whispering a prayer for you as you remember and miss her ...
Love you!
I nominated you(see my blog:)
oh dear me. Mrs. MK~ I am bawling here. I couldn't take not understanding the posts that alluded to pain so I went on a hunt, reading-searching past months until finally I understood.
Mrs. MK~ I am just so very very sorry for your loss. What a dear girl. That photo of her feet and your hand...and then, the story of big brother wanting to go to heaven to help Jesus take care of her...
my heart just breaks for you.
Yet~as I read, such strength you possess. It is incredible~ your quest for joy in the midst of trials. You seek it and persevere to the end, until finally, it is there for the taking.
I am in the midst of a rather large trial right now-one that I haven't yet found the strength (or words) to share about on my blog. But coming here today puts things in perspective for me a little bit, and offers me hope and encouragement than joy CAN be found in trials.
You are in my prayers, and especially this holiday season. Continue to seek joy.
Oh, my friend, I just found your blog. What a gem you are! It is so nice to know we are not alone, is it not? I will be back!
