It thrilled my heart to hold the littlest J
before she was even 24 hours old.

Here she is 4 days old,  and wearing a sweater that I knit for her.

You know,  babies have a special place in my heart.

It's just such a wonderful thing:

God has answered!

There is a mystery I cannot even describe faithfully, and never explain.

Family, friends and aquaintances (and yes, even blog readers!)

have been moved to action, inspired by God to reach out to me

in tangible, hold-it-in-your-hand ways. It amazes me how generous God's people are!

There have been several times over the last 6 weeks that I have thrown a temper-tantrum at God. Self-pity and whining take over, and I momentarily forget the ways the ways he has moved in others to help me.

So, humbled because of my pride and my need, I express my thanks to you. Each one of you has done the unexpected, what I never would have dreamed, and for this I am deeply grateful. You are on my "counting my blessings" list!

My Valentine made this for me.

Now I'm pulling treasures from their hiding places,

and hoping that the football stays out of my kitchen!

Mr. Wonderful is building me some beautiful cabinets.

Of course, they are not done yet,

like the rest of our house.

We are enjoying each little bit

that gets finished.

In other news, it has been a very long week. In fact, the last few have been difficult. Mr. Wonderful has been out of town overnight quite a bit, which always throws me and the kids for a proverbial loop. But just the other day I received news that has made my week----
dear friends are moving back HOME!!
