special pink roses from Mr. Wonderful Today was Ellie's funeral,

held at the graveside,

just minutes from our home.

The chilly temperatures,

biting wind,

and freezing tears

were countered by the boys playing a rousing game

of "Freeze Tag"

in an unused part of the cememtery while we waited

to begin.

...we are sorrowful, yet always rejoicing........
