Jewels at Eyes of Wonder has done it again! Seriously, this lady makes me cry with nearly every post she writes! How I long to live and love in this way!
On another topic, we are excited about the prospect of buying a old "fixer-upper" in the country about 3 miles from where we live now. It is a nice place, 7.5 acres, a shop, garage and open barn. There are some trees, though they are not as nice as the ones we have here. The house is the same era as this one, but has 3 bedrooms instead of 2, and an unfinished attic (I LOVE attics!!!). We will find out on Wednesday if we are going to be able to buy it!! Oh, the suspense is building!!!!

Oh, how wonderful. I would love to move to the country. One day maybe. Australian houses don't seem to have those lovely attics you see in other countries (and of course, children's books are full of adventures in attics). Do you remember the scene in Little House in the Big Woods where Laura plays with her corncob doll surrounded by all the food stored in the attic for winter?

we are kind of going through the same thing right now...possibly trading our house for another not too far away...
we've got the approval part done....we are going to be making our bid..but our realtor is out of town until saturday and so i'm expecting that early next week we will be in the bidding part (which i hate)
this week is going sooooo slowly...
